Seeds & Plants for Pollinators
At Buzzing Blossoms, we have one goal: make the world a better place for pollinators. We have big dreams. We want to grow enough native milkweed and host plants for all of Florida's butterfly and pollinator gardeners. It's a big task, so we're starting with a few of Florida's native milkweeds, several host and nectar plants, and seeds for nectar sources.

Host Plants: Tropical Sage
Salvia coccinea, or Tropical Sage, is a Florida native sage that flowers throughout the year. The sage from Buzzing Blossoms is a delicate pink and attracts a variety of bees and hoverflies. Hoverflies are excellent beneficial insects that will keep your aphid and thrip population down. Who doesn't like chemical-free pesticides? Lure in these lovely hovering agents of aphid doom with pink sage and you too will have a balanced garden.
