Dill - Tetra Variety - Plant

Bring on the Black Swallowtails (Papilio polyxenes) with this bushy, heat tolerant dill that should last throughout the season. Swallowtails lay their eggs on this 30 to 36 inch bushy plant and you can watch them munch away.

Not only will you get Black Swallowtails with dill, but you can also attract Green Lacewings, hoverflies, and parasitoid wasps that will keep your garden pest free.  No need for insecticide when you have dill interspersed throughout your garden. Of course, some of those beneficial insects will keep the Swallowtail caterpillars in check, but that is just the circle of life.  It will all balance out in the end.
