Spider Milkweed - Asclepias viridis - Plant

This milkweed will enjoy being in your dry, not so nutrient-rich area of your garden.  It is drought tolerant, but keep it watered when its still a youngster. Unusual greenish flowers and rich green leaves will enhance your butterfly garden beautifully. Of course, this plant will attract Monarchs and other milkweed lovers like Viceroys, Soldiers, and Queens.

Each plant comes in its own biodegradable, self-fertilizing, cow pot. You can plant the pot directly in the ground so you don't need to disturb the roots and you'll be fertilizing the ground at the same time.  No plastic waste!
