Scarlet Rosemallow - Hibiscus coccineus - Seed

This gorgeous, flaming red flower will be the star of your pond or rain garden.  It's a tall (5 to 8 feet tall!) burst of crimson.  The flowers are 5-petaled and are huge.  This plant is a stunner.  Seeds require scarification.  I've had success using a file to open the outer coating of the seed, then letting the seeds rest in water for 24 hours before planting.
